After 30 years in manufacturing, I am hoping to spend the rest of my life helping others.My views are unorthodox and unconventional and I hope that I can bring a different perspective to our dialog.
I have lived overseas and have traveled extensively coming into contact with all classes and many cultures. I am an explorer and a critical thinker and a risk taker. Most of those risks taken have paid off, but every one of them has been a learning experience. The world has so much to offer and we are only here for a brief time. I try to make the best use of that time that I can.
My favorite literary works these days are the classics but I will admit to being at the epicenter of punk rock and hip hop and New Wave back in the day. From roaming the streets of Berlin and NYC and Shanghai and London to the raw beauty of Patagonia and Alaska to 90′ down I try to find the kernel of each moment. Sometimes I’m right and sometimes I’m wrong but i think I get it right more than not.
I write for my own pleasure and passions and hold deeply rooted beliefs in tradition and the bases for those traditions. All that is new is not necessarily good and we must be careful to sort the good from the chaff. technology is an incredible tool, but it is simply a tool not an end point.
I always keep this nearby:
Seek the Lord while He may be found, call Him while he is near.
Let the scoundrel forsake his way and the wicked man his thoughts;
Let him turn to the Lord for mercy; to our God, who is generous in forgiving.
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, saith the Lord.
As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are My ways above your ways and My thoughts above your thoughts.
For just as from the Heavens the rain and snow come down and do not return there till they have watered the earth, making it fertile and fruitful, giving seed to him that sows and bread to him who eats,
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but shall do My will, achieving the end for which I sent it.”
Isaiah 55, 6-11
